Lead the Oral Maxillofacial, General and Plastic portfolio in Scrub Scout

The Role In this permanent full-time role, based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Unit Manger with the clinical management and leadership of the Day Procedure Unit (DPU) at Epworth Freemasons. Our DPU consists of 6 theatres and you will lead the portfolio for Oral Max, General and Plastic surgeries.
Our DPU is open Monday to Friday and you will work 4 shifts per week, between the hours of 7.30am and 8.30pm.

To be successful in this role… You will either be in an ANUM role or looking to step into an ANUM role. You are a strong communicator with a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with your team, medical staff, patients and their families. You are keen to learn how to build and lead a committed and engaged team.
You will have
Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
Communication, time management and excellent customer service skills
Post graduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing would be advantageous
Previous experience in the Perioperative setting
